Background
information
Being from Ho Chi Minh City, there are 2 huge rivers. Now I would like to talk
about one of them which is called Saigon
river. Well, I can safely say that Saigon
river is famous for its historical importance and scenic beauty.
I suppose, it's mainly because it tends to attract lots of
people, not only locals but also tourists.
For relaxation and
enjoyment
First of all, it's a picturesque place, I mean it's got a spectacular
view of nature in an old-fashioned way. This is why lots of people make a
habit of going there once or twice a year, especially in hot summer time. Take my friends and I as an example, basically we
go there just to relax and chill out, coz, we know it's an excellent place to
have a lot of fun and recharge our batteries. Because, we can do
different kinds of activities such as swimming, lying on the beach, soaking
up the sun. It's just amazing.
Fishing
On top of that, this specific river
provides livelihood for locals. I mean, fishing is a main source of
income for local people. Local people tend to
catch lots of fish and sell them like hot cakes. This is mainly because fish is so delicious.
All
in all, this is the specific river which is pretty much popular and significant
in my nation.

and they can eat it by mistaken, then they can get sick or potentially
die.
