Below is a map of the city of Brandfield. City planners have decided to build a new shopping mall for the area, and two sites, S1 and S2 have been proposed.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

The depicted diagram illustrates two possible areas in order to a new shopping centre in Brandfield. The main discrepancy between these sites is that S1 is located near the residential area, while S2 is much more loser to the industrial zone.

All in all, it seems that, city planners should prefer S1 due to its advantages, such as being accessible for the residents and surrounding by various means of transportations of the city.

Looking at the information in more detail, we can easily determine that S1 lies between the residential part and city centre. Additionally, it is surrounded by river, road and railway which make it easily accessible.

The second proposed place, S2, is situated on the left side of railway and is closer to the main road. Being near the industrial area and the city centre is a great advantage for this site. Furthermore, as the first site, this area also is far from the golf course and parks which is lying along the west side of the city.
