No, I would say that currently I write the below average amount of letters, I guess it depends on what you define as a lot. In any case, yeah, no I don't really enjoy writing letters that much. Formal letters could be fun to write, potentially depending on what kind of information you are required to try to pass on, what you're actually trying to say, but in general it's just, it's a tedious chore that I do not enjoy.

𝐈𝐬 𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐬 𝐩𝐨𝐩𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐢𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐲?

I feel like over the world, all over the world, everywhere it's kind of a worldwide trend that emails are becoming more and more obsolete, just, let's say by the minute, because nobody really uses them anymore. We have texting which is a hundred times more comfortable and more convenient in every way, so I think that no, it's not popular in any county.

𝐃𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐨 𝐰𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐛𝐲 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐨 𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐚 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐫?

In the same way that I think emails are obsolete, I think that writing is just absolutely archaic, everytime I have to write something with my hands on a piece of paper I feel like a caveman and I do not enjoy this experience at all. But at the same time I do have to mention that there's certain charm to writing things by hand. Unfortunately, that charm doesn't translate to what I write because my handwriting is absolutely horrid and it looks like chicken scratch, it's terrible.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐬?

Emails are a lot more versatile, a letter, if you want to send someone you have to physically get it to them, and if they wanna read it. And also it's a lot more difficult to write a letter, but physical letters, you can include like money in them and you can maybe include some kind of drawing that you made or other kinds of physical objects, whereas emails, it's just digital objects like for example pictures or something like that which I don't think is nearly as cool.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐮𝐬𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐰𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭?

Um, usually if I'm writing a letter is probably something to do with some kind of maybe work, or some kind of essays, or some kind of grading or something of that sort. Mainly just work-stuff. Yeah, it's about that.

𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐰𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬?

I would send them in a lot of situations, if I have some kind of work-related thing or for example if I'm trying to like enter some kind of raffle online, like some kind of giveaway or something like that I guess I would write an email or something. There's a lot of situations I guess when emails are useful but I'm not sure about what all of them are.

𝐈𝐬 𝐢𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐨𝐟 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐰𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞?

I think it can be, I feel like especially for people that are learning English understanding the differences between formal and informal language can be a very big hurdle to get over and to understand. But for me personally, it's not as much hard to think of what to write and hard to draw out the motivation to start writing it, yeah.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐫 𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐥 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐰𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞?

I think a breakup email would be the hardest to write if you like, you know, if you're in a relationship with someone, and you want to dump that person, it's gonna be really hard to muster up all of your courage and all of those emotions and all those feelings and to really come from deeper than yourself and to write an email or letter about how you want to not speak with that person anymore, otherwise work- related emails and all that kind of stuff I think those are pretty easy. That's it for part 1. Thank you.
